I’m a fourth-year medical student at TCD with an intercalated MSc in Molecular Medicine. Last year, I helped launch one of TCD’s most active medical societies, served as a PBL tutor for Junior Fresh medical students, and contributed to shaping the new TCD medical curriculum. This year, as AMSI TCD Co-President, my goal is to make medical students across Ireland more informed and connected, both nationally and internationally. Outside medicine, you’ll find me on the volleyball court with my team, challenging myself in a kayak, or crafting latte art.

Patricia Sim

I’m currently an intercalated Master’s in Neuroscience student at TCD. I love all things neuro and have a keen interest in public health, health policy and med/edutech. Previously, I’ve helped launch conferences as Vice President of the Association of Women Surgeons (TCD Chapter) and as Financial Secretary of the Brunei Medical Students’ Association. I’ve also initiated mentorship programs to connect Bruneian premedical students with current medics! I hope I can emulate what I have learnt so far and contribute meaningfully to AMSI as Co-President of the AMSI TCD Chapter. Beyond academics, you’ll catch me running, hiking, or cafe hopping.
