UCD LOCAL AMSI COMMITTEE (2025-2026)

UCD will start recruitment for its local AMSI committee soon. Please email us if you are interested in being a part of UCD’s AMSI chapter

President - AMSI UCD

Eva Kelly

Hi, my name is Eva, and I’m a second-year Graduate Entry Medicine student at University College Dublin. I hold a joint honours degree in Law and Business from Trinity College Dublin and have a professional background in Big 4 accounting.

In joining AMSI, I hope to integrate my passion for medicine with my background in policy and finance to promote a holistic approach to healthcare leadership. This year, my goal as UCD President is to establish UCD medical students as proactive health advocates and to strengthen our engagement within the AMSI community. I aim to foster opportunities for collaboration among medical students across Ireland and internationally, empowering us to drive meaningful change in health education and policy.

Vice President - AMSI UCD

Sophie Bennett

I am currently a second year graduate medicine student in UCD, and I hold a Bachelor’s in Science (Human Health & Disease) from Trinity College Dublin. I have a strong interest in research, public health, and medical education.

Outside of academics, I love hiking and spending time in nature, my experience volunteering in Zimbabwe for a summer on a reserve further fueled my appreciation for the environment and the importance of conservation. I also enjoy singing my heart out to musical theatre tunes, and curling up with a good book.

As Vice President of the UCD chapter of AMSI, I’m keen to grow our chapter and encourage collaboration not only between medical collages across Ireland, but also across the wider international community. I’m excited to use my platform to promote opportunities for medical students to engage in research and advocate for medical information to be made more accessible for the broader public.
